What we collect

- Catering and contact requests: name, email, phone, event details, and your message.

Information collected automatically
- Device and browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location, referring site, and similar usage data, collected through cookies and tracking pixels (see “Cookies and advertising” below).
- Order activity when you order through our online ordering partner.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where the law requires). If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and, for franchise leads, to assess your interest and schedule a discovery call.
- To run our rewards program, take orders, and fulfill catering requests.
- To send marketing emails or texts, only where you've agreed or the law allows. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To measure and improve our website, menu, and advertising, including showing you ads and measuring which ads led to an inquiry.
- To protect the business, prevent spam and fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers who work for us and may use it only for those services:
Franchise leads are also shared internally with our franchise development team. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or restructuring of the business.
Some providers are located in the United States or other countries, so your information may be processed outside your province or country, where different privacy laws apply.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar tools (including the Meta Pixel, Google tags, and TikTok pixel) to understand how people use our site and to measure and improve our ads. These tools may share information about your visit, such as pages viewed and form submissions, with the advertising platforms.
You can control this by:
- adjusting your browser’s cookie settings;
- using Facebook ad preferences and Google ad settings;
- opting out through the Digital Advertising Alliance tools for Canada or the US.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. As a guide: franchise inquiries for up to 24 months after your last contact, unless you become a franchisee; marketing subscriptions until you unsubscribe; order records for the period required for tax and accounting.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct it or ask us to delete it;
- withdraw consent to marketing or other uses;
- in some US states, opt out of targeted advertising or the sharing of personal data for it;
- complain to your privacy regulator, for example the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
To make a request, email hello@cluckclucks.ca. We may need to verify your identity first, and we’ll respond within the time the law requires (generally within 30 days).
Marketing messages: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. For texts, reply STOP.
Franchise information
Franchise inquiries are not an offer to sell a franchise. Offers are made only by a franchise disclosure document delivered in accordance with applicable law. Information you provide about your finances is used to assess fit and is kept confidential, shared only with people who need it to evaluate your inquiry.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows the most recent change. Material changes will be posted on this page.
