From our franchisees

What it’s like to own a Cluck Clucks.

I was a multi-unit Tim Hortons franchisee for 12 years. The unit economics on Cluck Clucks are stronger and the brand momentum is real.

FAQ

Common questions.

What does it actually cost to open?+

Initial investment ranges from $350K to $550K depending on location size, real-estate fit-out, and existing infrastructure. Roughly $50K of that is the franchise fee; the rest is build-out, equipment, opening inventory, and working capital.

Do I need restaurant or franchise experience?+

No. About 40% of our franchisees are first-time restaurant owners. Our training program is built for people coming in from outside the industry.

What's the timeline from application to opening?+

Typically 9–14 months: 1–2 months from application to signed agreement, 6–10 months for site selection and build-out, plus training in parallel.

Which markets are available right now?+

Ontario secondary markets, Alberta, BC, Quebec, and select US Northeast metros are open. Toronto core territories are closed to additional units; the GTA Halton + York markets have limited openings.

What's covered in the franchise fee?+

Brand license, initial training (6 weeks), site selection support, opening marketing playbook, access to our central supply chain, and ongoing franchise success management.

Is the menu the same as the corporate stores?+

Yes — every franchisee runs the same core menu including halal certification across the supply chain. Limited regional add-ons may be approved.
